Pigment Studies

Hall used natural pigments sourced during her travels through Morocco to develop new compositions, textures and layering effects in this series of small works on paper. These pigment studies were created in anticipation of an upcoming series ' Blink' of abstract paintings intended to capture land and cityscapes glimpsed in a split-second.
